Group Guitar Classes Really Work!
Blue Bear’s group guitar classes range in size from 3 to 5 students – small enough that you’ll get individualized attention as needed.
We screen people so that everyone in each guitar class is close to the same level. That way new material is at the right level for each student, and the whole class can progress along together.
Each week you’ll learn a new song that will teach you new chords, new strumming patterns, and build your playing skills in a systematic fashion.
Blue Bear’s group guitar classes start with an absolute square-one beginner class for people who are picking up the guitar for the very first time, don’t know a single chord, know nothing about music, and may not even know how to hold the guitar.
From there, more advanced guitar classes are available for students who have been playing just a few months to those who have been playing for years. Speak with our Program Director for the best placement in these higher-level guitar classes.
The emphasis in our acoustic guitar classes is on learning cover songs and developing rhythm playing. Lead playing skills are covered in several group electric guitar classes (which can also be taken by acoustic players), where you’ll also find classes in blues guitar, jazz guitar, and other music styles.
