Little Bears offers San Francisco’s best music classes for infants and toddlers. Come rock out IN PERSON with Little Bears in a park or indoor location near you! Everyone gets a free trial so you can make sure it’s a good fit.

Starting up again in 2023, we are offering indoor classes at our campus in Fort Mason, Noe Valley Ministry, and the Church on the Corner in Albany.

We’ve been hosting distanced, in-person music classes for kids ages 6 mo – 5 yr in parks in San Francisco since July 2020. Families bring their own blankets and instruments and make music, together. We have classes in the following parks: Great Meadow Park (Fort Mason), Little Marina Green (across the street from Palace of Fine Arts), St. Mary’s Rec CenterNoe Courts, the Panhandle Picnic Area, Potrero Hill Rec Center, Mission Bay Kids’ ParkArgonne Elementary, James Lick Middle School, and Salesforce Park. We also have classes in the East Bay: in Memorial Park in Albany and at Colby Park in North Oakland. Additionally, we run private music classes for schools and other establishments, mainly at preschools around San Francisco.

Our infant and toddler music classes focus on socialization, music appreciation, a deep embodiment of rhythm and melody, and music as a joyful expression of self. Our teachers are professional musicians with a focus on teaching younger age groups. Some of them have been teaching Little Bears classes for over a decade. They are the best in town!

A lifelong love of music starts here!

“Having two kids home at once has been… an experience. We definitely realize that we need the music in us to feel like ourselves, especially during these trying times.” – Lillian D.

“Words do not do it justice… this program is truly beyond superb! I couldn’t believe the confidence my two year old gained in just four short sessions. And even MORE wonderful than that – was just seeing the pure joy on her face! . . . We BOTH loved every minute – and I will treasure the fun memories of our first music class together! Can’t wait to sign up again.” – Reena R.

“Wanted to send a quick note to say how great we think teacher Rachel is. Our daughter has gone to 4 or 5 music classes with different teachers since she was born, and Rachel is exceptional at fostering a love of music and teaching Eve so many new songs and dances.” – Jack W.
