Blue Bear is happy to announce a partnership with Urban Sprouts, the community garden outside our Mission Bay campus, for a music and gardening class starting winter 2025! It will be taught by Ji, who has a deep love of gardening and is excited to get her hands dirty. Here are the details:
- It is an 8 or 9 month program that meets once a week in the garden, likely on Wednesdays at 11am, starting 1/15/25.
- You’ll be planting in the spring, tending in the summer, harvesting in the fall, and singing about it every step of the way.
- The class is for students aged 2.5-5 y/o and caregivers.
- Maximum enrollment is 6 students.
- Minimum time commitment is 8 weeks, but we strongly encourage staying for the whole plant life cycle.
- Price is $300 for 8 weeks of class.
