Community Youth Band
Mondays 4:30-6pm - 8 week class
J.T. Locke
For players in grades 7-10, this band will learn and play songs by a variety of contemporary and classic bands. Members should already be proficient on their instrument, and ideally be in private lessons concurrently. This is a chance to put the hard work of learning your instrument into practice, in real time, with other young rockers.
Cost: $250/sliding scale
(no one turned away for lack of funds)
Songwriting Band
Wednesdays 4:30-6pm - 8 week class
J.T. Locke
This band is for 7th and 8th graders who would like to write and perform original music in a band setting. The class will be co-taught by Bonnie Hayes (on all the odd weeks) and J.T. Locke (week one and all the even weeks). Spaces are limited, and a brief audition may be required.
Cost: $250
Your Rock Band
10 week class
Call us at 415-673-3600 with a minimum group of four and we can schedule a 10-week after school rock band session to start anytime.
Cost: $225 (1 hour/week) or $315 (1.5 hours/week)
Private lessons in guitar, piano, bass,
voice, mandolin, drums and GarageBand are available for school-age children. Please call 415-673-3600 for more information.
Some teens might also be appropriate in our adult group classes.
