Community Programs

COMMUNITY PROGRAMS

 

A wide range of community programs stem from Blue Bear’s desire to revitalize music learning via popular music genres. Our commitment to social equity through teaching popular music (rock, blues, urban, world) and making it accessible to greater numbers of youth in our community, has been part of the Blue Bear culture for more than 44 years. Programs include Rock Band EnsembleGroup GuitarKeyboard LabStudio 101Studio 201DJ Course, Get Rhythm!, Instrument Petting Zoo and Sing! Dance!. Our classes address California Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) and national Music Educator National Conference (MENC) standards.

Our community programs range from fully or partially underwritten, to fee-based and parent-supported. Please contact us to discuss how Blue Bear can bring music to your young students:
