Blue Bear offers a songwriting camp for young musicians going into grades 7-12
Summer 2018 Schedule
Monday – Friday, 10 am – 3 pm, with a longer day on Friday for a performance.
This immersive camp experience is for kids going into grades 7-12 (fall 2018) who write songs or want to, and for musicians who want to play original music instead of cover songs. Students will write, arrange and perform their songs, working in small age-based groups. Learn the techniques that the bands you love use to create the songs you listen to through workshops on lyrics, form, arranging and more. Lead teachers: J.T. Locke and Amanda VanderMeer
Suggested minimum of one years of lessons (any instrument or voice).
See our Summer Camp FAQs page for more details about what campers need to bring, our drop policy and more.
