Creating & Recording Music Camp
Summer 2017 Schedule
June 26-30, with possible extension July 5-7
Monday – Friday, 10 am to 3 pm
For young songwriters and musicians going into grades 9-12 (fall 2017) who want to learn the ropes of the digital studio recording process, campers will work on song arrangements and recording preparation, tracking and mixing, while learning about the roles of a producer in recording. Open to songwriters and supporting musicians, everyone will contribute to the creative process and to the writing and recording of individual parts. Upon completion, students will have a recording of music that they participated in along with much practical studio experience. In past years, there has been great interest in doing additional studio work. This year we’re offering an extended 3-day session July 5-7 following the full-week camp.
See our Summer Camp FAQs page for more details about what campers need to bring, our drop policy and more. After-camp activities are not available for this camp.
